At the beginning of May we are gathering a collection of the Directors, young people, volunteers, and staff to explore where the project is going in the years to come.
What is working? What is not? What should we be concentrating our resources on? What should our social enterprise be like? Youth project, social enterprise, training kitchen, cross-generational project – how should they all relate to each other? What are the major issues facing the young people of Elgin area?
To have your say, speak with one of the team before the end of the month.
In an exciting development, the first half of 2016 will see the construction of the new community kitchen. The new development will provide the group with a ‘state of the art’ teaching kitchen from which many of our projects will deliver new opportunities for the community. The kitchen development has been in the planning / funding stage for several years and is now finally going ahead. The new development will greatly increase our ability to self-fund a significantly proportion of our annual costs.
You can keep track of progress on Twitter @inkwellmoray and there are also a selection of pictures here…
