Elgin Youth Cafe is looking for a flexible individual to undertake the role of Caretaker. Assisting the Social Enterprise Manager, the suitable person will be required to prepare meeting rooms for groups, an element of cleaning and ensuring that timely access to the building is available out of normal working hours.

The Delta Force Project is a community service initiative supporting young people to undertake voluntary tasks in the local area. If you are passionate about helping young people develop practical life skills and become active members of their communities, this post could be for you. Who in the community needs the help of Delta Force? Your team of young recruits could be helping in a range of diverse events such as helping at a local nursery event, painting a church, helping a group of elderly people with a garden project. The post would be yours to promote and develop! You will be part of our growing team and responsible for the management and delivery of the project within The Warehouse @ EYC (our new name for Elgin Youth Café!).
This is a demanding and exciting post in a vibrant environment. Working time will include evenings and weekends.

As part of the ongoing Intergenerational work that EYDG is engaged in, we are considering reinstating the Craft Group. However, before taking this any further we would like to gauge interest in such a group. We would, therefore, welcome your input via our Survey.
The EYDG will be holding the AGM at the cafe on the evening of the 21st November. All are welcome to what will be a brief business meeting followed by a look at what we have been doing for the last year and award presentations to some of our young people.
