We are seeking mature young people with proven leadership skills to take on roles that will directly impact on the future of Elgin Youth Cafe, The Inkwell and our new Community Kitchen. We are looking for young people who are looking for new experiences, keen to learn new skills and are willing to step out of their comfort zone.
Elgin Youth Development Group are seeking young leaders in Moray to shape the future of EYDG.
We are eager to hear from young people who would like to increase their knowledge of how charities and social enterprises work and who would like to provide increased opportunities for young people in Moray.
There are eight positions within this group which are listed below. A copy of the role descriptions are included in the pack attached to this email.
- Chair of Youth Committee
- Secretary of Youth Committee
- Fundraising Representative
- Moray Youth Council Representative
- Networking Representative
- Schools Representative
- Training Representative
- Youth Programme Representative
Within each of these positions, young people will have the opportunity to work closely with our Directors, our staff and our volunteers. They will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals in EYDG as well as link up with different organisations and agencies. There will be opportunities to gain valuable skills in; leadership, fundraising, events management and youth work.
