Sheila began painting by joining a local art group after retirement. She quickly discovered the enormous pleasure of creating something original as well as the therapeutic benefits of art. Her main medium is acrylic with the occasional oil.
Her inspiration comes from the landscape around the Moray coast and she concentrates mainly on landscapes, seascapes and flowers. She has exhibited regularly in local events as well as taking part in NEOS ( North East Open Studios) in September each year. To date, she has raised in excess of £2000 for charities from the sale of her work.
