Elgin Youth Development Group has an exciting opportunity for a Chief Executive Officer who is able to continue to develop our dynamic and growing charity.
Based in the adjoining buildings of Elgin Youth Café and The Inkwell (our new Community Hub and Kitchen), our charity runs projects and activities for both young people and other members of our community, and aims to build confidence, promote health and wellbeing and increase skills and employability. In addition to this, we run a successful venue hire and catering arm which generates income for our charitable activities. You will be leading a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, and you will create and deliver a strategic plan that will allow us to continue to provide a wide range of services for local people.
To be successful, you will have a credible track record in management with experience in the third sector and will be able to demonstrate strong leadership, financial acumen, and strategic thinking. This role is hands on and flexibility and adaptability is key. The ability to plan, organise and multi task is essential, as is the need to work with a varied and dynamic environment.
