EYDG is passionate about making a difference to the lives of people in the local area, and helping them to reach their potential.  Over the years we have developed a clear aim, a set of goals, a mission statement and clearly stated values that under pin everything we do.

“Our mission is to provide a safe and inspiring setting for young people to meet, socialise and learn away from the pressures of modern life. We will provide projects and activities that meet young people’s needs, and support them to reach their potential.”

Evaluation

To keep tabs on what we are doing we monitor five key success factors or areas of interest.

1. Impact on Young People

To provide opportunities and facilities for young people to fulfil their potential.

2. Impact on volunteers and staff

To provide an inclusive range of volunteering & personal development opportunities for the benefit of the individuals involved.

3. Impact on the Communtiy

To provide services and facilities to support the local community and increase the sustainability of the charity.

4. Environmental Impact

We monitor our use of resources and strive to be environmentally friendly and carbon neutral.  We have invested in solar renewables and power a significant proportion of our energy usage using PV panels.

5. Finance

We monitor our finances and the impact they have on the local environment.

In each of these areas we have underlying objectives that we monitor regularly.
