The aim of this project is to improve the employability of each participant through in-house work experience, training, building confidence, gaining knowledge and improving personal skills. To enable participants to improve their chance of gaining employment, or lead on to further education.
EYDG are working in partnership with the European Social Fund to offer this opportunity to eligible 16-29 year olds. These opportunities are being offered throughout Elgin Youth Cafe, The Inkwell, and The Inkwell Community Kitchen.
Each participant will sign up to a 12 week course (at 10 hours per week) and during that time they will gain at least two accreditations. They will work with trained staff and professionals, with varied opportunities on offer from admin to social media and front of house to catering from internal and external hires.
