Venue hire with a heart. With the sustainability of our charity at the forefront of our minds, our social enterprise, The Inkwell directly supports our charitable youth work. The space also allows us to provide work placements to young people through EYDG’s Employability Programme.
We hire out our spaces for meetings, training, events, cookery classes, and more. These are available to the general public, businesses and organisations alike. Additionally, to aid us in providing training & development opportunities for young people, as well as supporting them into work, we have partnered with Moray Pathways to host an employability hub for Moray within part of the space.
Room Hire
Our meeting room can be used for a number of purposes including AGM’s, networking, group work & training. We offer complimentary wifi, whiteboards and a screen with all hires.
The Inkwell is also home to a purpose built Community Kitchen which can be hired by organisations & individuals.
Community Kitchen
Our community kitchen is a purpose built kitchen which can be hired by organisations and individuals. The kitchen space also has one wheelchair accessible station. Hires of this space include use of our pantry. For more details on how to book this space, please click here.
We use the space for our youth worker-lead cookery classes, as well as working with other community groups to provide cookery, budgeting and nutrition guidance.

When you use The Inkwell you are supporting our charitable activities, all proceeds generated support our work with young people and the activities we offer at The Warehouse @EYC. Furthermore, The Inkwell helps us to provide employment opportunities, giving young people real work place skills in hospitality, administration, media & marketing, and youth work.
